Ready to help recognise the achievements of Aberdeen's volunteers?

Use the form to submit a nomination for an individual volunteer or volunteer team making a positive difference across the city. We’re looking to celebrate the people whose time, commitment and community spirit help strengthen communities, support local organisations and make Aberdeen a better place for everyone.

As part of your nomination, please provide a short overview of the volunteer or team you are nominating, including the role they carry out and the impact they make through volunteering. You may wish to highlight their dedication, contribution, teamwork or the difference they have made to your organisation, local community or the people they support. You can also include any personal achievements or development through volunteering. Please keep your nomination to no more than 500 words.

Who can be nominated

To be eligible for recognition through the Lord Provost Volunteering Certificate, nominees should:

  • Volunteer with an Aberdeen-based organisation, charity or community group

  • Be making a positive impact through volunteering across the city

  • Be nominated by the organisation or group they volunteer with

  • Be one of one nomination submitted per award category by that organisation each year

  • Volunteers of all ages are welcome to be nominated
